Remember when we used to celebrate solely George Washington’s birthday? This year the Kansas City FreedomKeepers has a special treat for you to celebrate that special day. On Monday, February 20th at 7:00 PM two of America's most influential speakers on our founding fathers and the Constitution will be speaking at Carmack Community Room in the Central Resource Library (Overland Park). First Josh Charles, co-author of The Original Argument, will be presenting on Washington's involvement during the Constitutional Convention. Following Josh, our keynote speaker Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, will be sharing his knowledge on the Constitutional powers of the President: particularly executive power and executive privilege. There will be NO CHARGE for this event. There are only one hundred seats available, so we are asking you to please RSVP here or pre-register by sending us an email at kcfreedomkeepers@gmail.com with your name, your email, and how many guest(s) that you may bring with you. Doors will open at 6:30 PM.

Yvonne, you need to use the address given to RSVP. We're trying to keep track of how many are coming due to the very limited seating. Political Chips is not in charge of this event (but I'm glad they're making people aware of it!)
C. B. and Yvonne Starks are pre-registering with this comment.
