Event Description
The Leavenworth County Republican Party will host a Town Hall meeting on Thursday evening, December 15th, 6:30-8:30 pm. The meeting is open to all who wish to attend. The meeting will be held at Tampico's Restaurant, 215 Delaware St, Leavenworth, KS.
Meals may be ordered from the menu starting at 6:30 pm. Our featured speaker will be Doctor Charles Sciolaro M.D. Charles is a medical doctor in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. As a practicing physician, he has attended many briefings and preparatory training sessions on what we can expect from doctors and others involved in the field of medicine as ObamaCare begins to be implemented. The closer we get to implementation, the more details we learning that are in the health care bill. You will want to come and learn the facts. There will be time allotted for questions. Several of our local State Representatives and other elected officials, as well as announced candidates for the 2012 Elections will be in attendance for you to talk with. Make plans to be here with us. Our Town Hall meetings are open to all, so bring your friends and neighbors along. The Town Hall meetings serve as a forum to bring in guest speakers to discuss key topics, to inform and to educate voters on the issues. It also allows voters an opportunity to speak with their elected officials in a very relaxed and friendly environment. Neglecting the issues will not make them go away. Come join us, bring your family and bring your friends for an opportunity to learn about issues that directly affect you, in all aspects of your daily life.
