Let's tickle the dragon's tail, Teri O'Brien of the internet blog radio Teri O'Brien Show and Smart Girl Politics wants folks to help her put pressure on Bill Maher to put her on the panel of his Real Time Show. Let's help her out!

Yes, Dale. Cameras ARE permitted. Go to www.tbonesbaseball.com/ for other info - but it does say there you may bring cameras and equipment.

My friend and I are photo enthusiasts and want to get plenty of photos of this event. My question is: Are cameras allowed? We don't want to get there and be turned away because we have our camera equipment. If someone in the know could let me know fairly quickly it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dale

Rhiannon, maybe Alex, Christina and Leslie are better suited to answer you. But in the meantime, I'll try. The main event begins at 6 pm, and it would be a shame to miss the main speaker, Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani! He is absolutely fabulous! But with 2 very young children, you may not want to be there too late in the evening. Darla Jaye is broadcasting live all evening so you might want to come earlier so you can all walk around and visit the many tables and suites, eat and talk with others, and then stay as long as your little ones are able! Then you can listen to the speakers on the radio - hopefully Darla will be able to broadcast those (KMBZ 980am). Chris Stigall (KCMO 710am) will also be there and broadcasting. I don't think you can go wrong coming at any hour you choose as there will be plently to see and hear all afternoon and evening. I'm so glad all of you are coming!

I want to bring my whole family, 6yr &2yr old in cluded. I don't think they will last the entire time. If you had to pick a 2 or 3 hr time block to come what would it be?

Terri, I know you're a new Chipper and can't have read everything on the website yet! But just so you know, we've been discussing this for some time and I think they have a pretty good handle on it. Go to the 3rd District group, and then to p. 15 (at least it's 15 right now - we're a gabby group!) and then read backwards p. 14 and 13... there will be security and police to help us. Cameras and recorders are recommended, too. You'll find suggestions about what to do on p 5, I believe (Yvonne). And I like what John has said below about our being positive with any chants and so forth - good suggestion. BTW, welcome Terri!

Everyone needs to be careful as I heard on Shannon/Parks show today that there will be fake tea partiers there Thurs night. Some may be dressed as Nazis at some of these parties

Just my 2cents worth......But ....If there is a group of "Infiltrates" that will be there to try to find some reason ....made up or otherwise. I think it VERY Important that if they be recording that our "Chants" be along the line of ..."Back to the Constitution" and other positive expressions of what we are actually standing for as apposed to the more negative [ but true] chants of "Kill the Bill" and so forth.....anything that would hint at violence or over throwing the GOV.....should be not what THEY would use against us.....We are for Education- to see , once again what we are taught in school before the Liberal Agenda started rewrting History. Smaller Gov and Less Spending- We must try to live within our means and so must GOV....as now is being warned.... And on and on....I think you get it . POSITIVE MESSAGES.....Not Foder for Argument!!!
April Clark Comment by April Clark on April 14, 2010 at 7:58am
Walter, we will be all over the field! Activities going on all over the ballpark. In the suites, too! It's going to be a great day for patriots!
