Event Description
In February and March, the club breaks from its regular 2nd Thursday of the month evening meeting to have breakfast meetings, named "Eggs and Issues."
This February meeting is with Kansas State Representatives. Those committed at this time are: Owen Donohoe, Amanda Grosserode, Brett Hildabrand, Mike Kiegerl, John Rubin, Arlen Siegfreid, Greg Smith, Sheryl Spalding, and Ron Worley.
Breakfast on your own.
No charge to attend, but membership appreciated.
Annual, single $20, couple $35.
Oftentimes, door prizes to be won (members only). :)

Yvonne, I have had two unexpected family issues come up this week and i will not be able to attend tomorrow. i hope to either have or join in on another meeting in the near future.

A defeated Dem. candidate was also in attendance at Tim Owen's town hall (where Jim and Amanda also spoke) - sat in the front row. He didn't say anything much but took notes. Another Dem. who has done it before filmed from the audience with a small camera. Looks like this IS a pattern.

Word is "on the street" that several Democrats who were replaced in November might try to attend the meeting with a videographer.The Sunflower Club allows any interested parties to attend the meetings, but has a long-standing policy against any audio and/or video recording during the meetings.Wanted all of you attending to be aware of what is going on before your arrival, and be ready for any possible "surprises" this Saturday--???We attended Kansas Representative Jim Denning's townhall last week and a former Democrat representative--who also just lost last November--was in attendance. Think this is going to be an on-going occurrence? Comments, anyone?

Have gotten word that Kansas Representative listed above, Mike Kiegerl, District 43, suffered a mini-stroke while serving in Topeka. One source; not fully confirmed and no details at this time.

The last e-mail message sent out had my rep, Rob Bruchman, listed as rep for District 30. That's Ron Worley's - Rob's is #20. I wrote to correct but haven't seen the correction yet - but hope those in Dist. 20 know their rep IS attending!
