The Leavenworth County Republican Party will host a Town Hall meeting on Thursday evening, April 19th, 6:30-8:30 pm. The meeting is open to all who wish to attend. The meeting will be held at 215 Delaware St, Leavenworth, KS.
Meals may be ordered from the menu starting at 6:30 pm.
Our guest speaker will be Joyce Mucci. Joyce is an experienced lobbyist and will give a presentation on getting involved in state-level politics to make a difference. Joyce is the Field Representative for the Federation for American Immigration Reform. She grew up in Washington, D.C. but has called Kansas City her home for the last twenty-years. She was a former lobbyist in Missouri, but switched gears to pursue a public relations career. She served as the Director of Communications for the Center for the America Founding in Washington, D.C. Joyce also did a stint as a radio talk show host.
Several of our local State Representatives and other elected officials, as well as announced candidates for the 2012 Elections will be in attendance for you to talk with.
Make plans to be here with us. Our Town Hall meetings are open to all, so bring your friends and neighbors along. The Town Hall meetings serve as a forum to bring in guest speakers to discuss key topics, to inform and to educate voters on the issues. It also allows voters an opportunity to speak with their elected officials in a very relaxed and friendly environment.
