Thank you Brother, here is an update, we will be having our next meeting Dec 19 at the new post 1519 Main, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm down town KCMO , everyone is invited to our next meeting. We need a head count if we can offer a little holiday party with our meeting.  This is an open house and a membership drive so help spread the word.

We will get our post up and running to include a restaurant. where any Masonic Brother will receive a discount anytime day or night 24/7 & 365 days a year.

Also any veteran will get a discount and the active duty military will get the food and drinks free.

It will be our way of paying back to good people that is making a difference in our community.

We will be located downtown KCMO 1519 Main and we plan on hosting Christmas parties and having meeting rooms for any corporation needing a meeting room with lunch.

100 % of our profits will go our veterans.

You told me once; “there is not a specific age to start dreaming again” and at our last dinner you told us that “paying taxes and willing to give our lives is not enough to serve our country, it is our duty to keep serving”…You are right, so here it goes!

The AMVETS POST 181 is coming soon

This post is designed to bridge a gap and assist returning troops as well as veterans. Our Idea is to have fun and offer supportive programs.

The idea is to have a restaurant open to the public ran by the post and will give 100% of its profits to the veterans programs. All active duty, reservist and active National Guard members, will eat free and veterans receive a discount.

We will provide a safe hangout that is family oriented, smoke free, not dark and unlike all the other veteran posts that we older guys have visited.

This post will focus on positive uplifting camaraderie, recreation, entertainment, and host a social networking program to provide direction to the veteran, give them sense of purpose, support job finding,  helping them deal with PTSD, and a suicide prevention program to name a few.

We will assist the soldier in obtaining rapid re-adjustment and become a productive member of society.

The post will also contribute to the Forgotten Veterans as our beloved veterans leave to guard the gates of Heaven and assist families with a low or no cost dignified veteran military funerals.
