A Special Message to the Political Chips Community!

Greetings Fellow Chippers!

Please note that this message is addressed to “Fellow Chippers”……meaning, all of you great American Christian Patriots who subscribe to a majority of the ideals, principles, and philosophies explicitly stated and published in our organizational platform!

We want to thank all of you for routinely visiting the site and positively promoting the Political Chips community as a great place for like-minded Conservatives to share ideas, discuss policies, and engage in civil debate. Our website analytics have shown that our site is being frequented by thousands of visitors each and every month. For every registered member on this site, there were approximately 19 different bellybuttons who stopped by for a visit at least one time in the month of July 2011 (nearly 38,000 different people)!!!

Obviously, it would be very naïve to think that EVERY single member or EVERY single visitor to our site is a like-minded Christian Conservative. That is ok. Our ultimate quest and desire is to portray our community and our organization as a professional operation. We strive to conduct ourselves in a manner that positively promotes conservatism and ultimately sheds a positive light on the Conservative movement.

With that said, please be advised that Political CHIPS, LLC is a private company. We reserve the right to do what we want to do, when we want to do it. We are not a newspaper or a not-for-profit entity whose tongues are held hostage by the IRS.

To the handful of folks who claim to have been censored and / or suspended, we do not owe you anything! You are not "entitled" to join this site for the mere purpose of agitating, slandering, or demeaning any of our beloved citizens who enjoy this community. Those violating this policy will find themselves banned from the site and / or their comments deleted. If anyone has a problem with that, you are encouraged to initiate your own personal web-site and establish your own private entity.

I've never been censored and/or suspended, I've happily participated in and promoted Political Chips, and have contributed blog items. Up 'til now I've never thought you "owed" me anything, nor have I had any beef with you.

BUT, if you want to be exclusively CHRISTIAN, then I, as a JEW, will not participate or belong where I am not wanted.

If the "Judeo-" part of "Judeo-Christian", which was certainly good enough for our Founding Fathers, is no longer important enough for inclusion by you, and if, by your reckoning, you want only "CHRISTIAN Conservatives" as members, then kindly CANCEL my membership FORTHWITH.

You are certainly entitled, as a private company, to do what you want, when you want, how you want. You can be as exclusionist and exclusivist as you care to be. But you have served notice that my membership is no longer of value to you (or perhaps never was).

I would say "God Bless You anyway", but you probably think you have an exclusive franchise with God, and that MY way of addressing Him is inferior to yours. So I'll just say "Good Luck to you".

I did not get what you got from this message. I thought there was a general welcome to anyone who uses this site with respect and reason. Otherwise you would have been censored or suspended. I think you either took this the wrong way or you are looking for an argument. I say God bless you, any way. Have a good and Godly day

Hey Stu, Don't be so thin skinned. I for one enjoy the commentary of all perspectives. (including yours) The founders based their principles for the constitution in Christian-Judeo concepts. And out of these principles came the right of free speech as long as it doesn't hurt anybody. I am a Christian. I wish I could say I am a great Christian, but like many in our fold I fall short of the principles I subscribe to. But it doesn't mean I stop trying to live by the standard upon which Christ gave us. Our lineage with Jews is so closely tied that evangelicals have a great reverence for the Torah and the foundation which Abraham and Moses laid for our faith. This site is awesome for the clean and appropriate expression of our opinions. Hang in there and don't take it so personal. Christians and Jews are getting killed and hated for simply for what we believe. So let's stick together God Bless you Brother.

Know that you're new to Political Chips, Torm (glad you're here!).....but "bellybuttons" representing "people" is a favorite expression of Political Chips' founder and often used.

Torm, be sure to look into Political Graffitti Vetting and Venting GROUP for social networking comments. You just might see the term, "bellybuttons," again. :)

Looks like we had a recent, new "outbreak" of whining, unhappiness, liberalism and/or libertarism that was posted as comments on V&V that may have instigated this "reminder".....(not the first time needed).......

We "regulars" are good at standing up to their rants (a word they don't like?) and not ignoring them....but thanks to the Political Chips Team for keeping the comments in line for all of us to be easier-able to educate, inform, and share what's important to us. :)

I think you have misconstrued to who this forum is targeted at. The people that post hatred towards the tea party that are trying to "destroy" the rights of others to free speech by bringing forums down to their level, instead of rising to the level that you have obviously demonstrated here. I'm not an owner of this website or anything, but it would be safe to say that you're not who they were addressing in that letter. You're welcome here, or they would have banned you or removed your posts.

Well, that was quick. Looks like Torm has already left us in membership.......just in case anyone else reading my comment below wonders what the heck I'm talking about or who I'm talking to......

He was a brand new member, had posted here, praised the approach on this discussion, but commented on the "bellybutton" term......and.....maybe in response to Stu's comment (?).....suddenly left our membership.

Politics is damn hard. Easy to offend without meaning to.....?? My personal and extremely humble opinion is that this was simply an oversight by a Christian who meant no ill will to any other religion, except maybe athiesm. I probably shouldn't comment on this at all, but because of Torm's sudden and unexpected departure, felt somehow prodded, since I'd been indirectly involved.....

Hope you'll stay, Stu. Think I remember some good blogs, thoughts, and opinions from you. :) We're all in this fight for liberty together. The Christians are now becoming under "early stage attack" from those against any God competition (opponent to their "government God") just as they have done to the Jewish populations through the ages.....we all need to stay on track who is our friend and who is our enemy.....concentrating on actions and general beliefs over a misplaced word. ???
