Greetings Fellow Chippers!
Please note that this message is addressed to “Fellow Chippers”……meaning, all of you great American Christian Patriots who subscribe to a majority of the ideals, principles, and philosophies explicitly stated and published in our organizational platform!
We want to thank all of you for routinely visiting the site and positively promoting the Political Chips community as a great place for like-minded Conservatives to share ideas, discuss policies, and engage in civil debate. Our website analytics have shown that our site is being frequented by thousands of visitors each and every month. For every registered member on this site, there were approximately 19 different bellybuttons who stopped by for a visit at least one time in the month of July 2011 (nearly 38,000 different people)!!!
Obviously, it would be very naïve to think that EVERY single member or EVERY single visitor to our site is a like-minded Christian Conservative. That is ok. Our ultimate quest and desire is to portray our community and our organization as a professional operation. We strive to conduct ourselves in a manner that positively promotes conservatism and ultimately sheds a positive light on the Conservative movement.
With that said, please be advised that Political CHIPS, LLC is a private company. We reserve the right to do what we want to do, when we want to do it. We are not a newspaper or a not-for-profit entity whose tongues are held hostage by the IRS.
To the handful of folks who claim to have been censored and / or suspended, we do not owe you anything! You are not "entitled" to join this site for the mere purpose of agitating, slandering, or demeaning any of our beloved citizens who enjoy this community. Those violating this policy will find themselves banned from the site and / or their comments deleted. If anyone has a problem with that, you are encouraged to initiate your own personal web-site and establish your own private entity.
Sincerely,
The Political Chips Team

This statement was made so people would have a full understanding of the perspective of the Political CHIPS team. It's totally within your right to disagree. I suppose I could comment on your remarks, but I'm guessing that wouldn't be productive. I will say this: Political CHIPS maintains respectful to all, but we will not back down on our stand.
Permalink Reply by Michael hannum on August 18, 2011 at 8:46pm Thank You Leslie.
Never back down on the principles for which we believe as Constitutional Conservatives.

Permalink Reply by Stephanie Williams on August 19, 2011 at 11:17am Kudos Les, tell it like it is! I am really tired of the whining by the allied grass roots folks who are libertarian in their politics and feel completely justified in launching attacks on us when we assert our opinions or principles as Christian (you're a theocrat), a conservative/Republican (you're a statist and right wing nut), or heaven forbid, you point out that RP is not a viable candidate and his supporters are unrealistic in their ardor and you become the very public subject of a 5,000 word or less character assassination on FB.

Stu Tarlowe goes into a tirade about being excluded because he is Jewish and Blakeslee rails about separation of church and state. Seriously guys???? Take some deep breaths and frankly, grow up!
You are the ones practising exclusivity. If you find being amongst conservative Christians so intolerable then please move on. I am not an evangelical or a Protestant either but there is no finer group of intelligent and warm patriots in our metro area and if you are so shallow that their conservative Christianity causes you apoplexy then maybe Les's admonition to start your own is a timely one.
Simpering, whiny primadonnas are not manly and fit so much better with the lib paradigm.
Permalink Reply by Rob Quinn on August 19, 2011 at 10:07pm I'm with Christopher Blakeslee on this one. I am personally interested in Tea Party fiscal conservatism, NOT religion.
I am hereby disassociating myself with the group and will be informing others of this fact.
Regards,
Robert Quinn
Permalink Reply by Michael hannum on August 20, 2011 at 7:16am Oh good grief Robert. You've not been "active" on this site since March. You're going to quit and tell everybody else that you quit, big deal. Christopher, so you're an atheist. I doubt that anyone here really cares, except maybe for your soul. Stu, you're a Jew. Another conservative who quite over religious differences. All three of you have just displayed what is wrong with the conservative movement; you disagree on one point but agree on nine, yet the one point is enough for you to take your ball and go home thereby allowing the progressives to win.
Personally I took the part about being a christian site not as being a way to chase you off but rather to maintain a certain decorum on the site. Although yes, it is a Christian conservative website whose members belong to a variety of protestant/catholic denominations and still get along!

How about the lib paradigm of accusing others of what you, yourself, are guilty of? That's certainly how it strikes me to be accused of being "juvenile" and "shallow", only to have that followed by having my "manliness" impugned. What an utterly sophomoric and immature rhetorical tactic! (And that "take a few deep breaths" is a favorite, desperate ploy of Queen Hillary!)
Ms. Williams's cheapshot response is the most disappointing of all the responses to my post in reaction to Political Chips' new manifesto (although the dearth of sympathetic responses is quite disappointing in and of itself).
I share my thoughts with a community of which I thought I was a respected member, and this is what I get? And to have my credentials as a Conservative impugned in the bargain? My Conservative credentials, by the way, are (for any one who cares to Google my name) unassailable.
I have great respect and admiration for Christians, for their faith and for their tolerance. Just not, as I have discovered, for this particular clique of Christians.
It's bad enough to be declared an infidel and a dhimmi by Islam; I certainly don't need it here.
Good luck to all of you, but you can color me gone.
Permalink Reply by Michael hannum on August 21, 2011 at 3:35pm some of this conversation is way over my head. Lets move on to whats really important.
I am thinking A.B.O in 2012.
ANY BUT OBAMA. in 2012. food for thought.....
Have you seen all the Muslims in Obama's cabinet, CZARS and Homeland Security and LaRaza (the Race) ? Makes ya think a little.
Along with knowing something about our history and the constitution, we really need to know who Mohamed was. It's worth doing the research on. It'll blow you away as to who he really was and what he espoused to and endorsed in the name of allah
. It'll give you a basis as to why you never hear moderate Muslims condemning the acts of murder by the extreme muslims. Interesting beyond belief.
Permalink Reply by Jeffrey G. Locke on August 20, 2011 at 9:32am The Judeo-Chistian tie is foundational to our Christian faith. Abraham and Moses are the fathers of my Catholic Christian faith. I am saddened when the nature of our unquestionably principled stands cause others to pause and feel excluded by that which is written in their own heart of hearts, where only God can discern.
The threat of Sharia Law should, as our common enemy of government tied to religion, should cause all who hold their faith tightly to their breast to rise up. When an a person holds a strong disbelief in God, that belief is held as rock solid to them as our belief in God is rock solid to us. We are free to disassociate because of the quality of free will we all share in.
Leaving the site in anger only assists the advancement of our common enemy. The march backward to liberal advancement of socialism and the replacemnet of constitutuional liberty by the religious proponents of Sharia Law by edict or subtle financial takeover.
