Defunding Planned Parenthood

In light of recent revelations regarding Planned Parenthood... is it just me or does it dredge up parallels to ACORN?  In my own Conservative mindset, I still support a woman's right to choose.  I also see this as an issue between a woman and her physician.  In that same mindset, I state emphatically that the Federal Government had no constitutional right to fund that or any organization like it.  THE FEDS HAVE NO BUSINESS INSIDE A WOMAN'S UTERUS!  ... There are those who state that PP has helped many "young women who were in trouble."  Perhaps there are instances of this being true.  But I say it has also fostered a very cavalier attitude among 12-25 year old set about sex and the responsibility thereof.  A friend's granddaughter was overheard telling her BFF, "Oh well. I can like get an abortion and the rents (parents) don't even have to know about it!"  Personally, I don't want one red cent of my tax dollar going to an organization that contributes to the erosion of society.  Just my humble opinion!
