THE HOLLYWOOD - WASHINGTON CONNECTION

Did Joe McCarthy have it right? I used to think that Joe was a horrible person for going after all of those "nice" people in Hollywod for being communists who were trying to destroy our nation but I think that history is proving that Joe was actually right.

Consider:

Hollywood comes out with a movie about the AIDS quilt and AIDS becomes a national issue that we must all embrace regardless of the fact that AIDS got its start in the rampantly gay community.

Hollywood comes out wih a movie about Matthew Shepard and the Brokeback Mountain and now we are besieged with demands to make gay marriage legal and to allow gays to serve openly in the US military.

Hollywood comes out with movies such as The Color Purple and most recently "Help" which keep the racial hatred pot boiling and continue to fuel a sense of black victimhood in a society which is 50 + years removed from Brown v. Board of Education and racial segregation.

Present day Hollywood needs to be destroyed. We will never have anything close to harmony in this country as long as it keeps fueling hatred.
