I saw a TV news story tonight about Oregon having an "electric highway". There are or will be charging stations every 25 miles along the coast highway and eventually more roads added. Right now the drivers re-charge for free, thanks to gov't assistance. That is scheduled to come to an end next year. I have to wonder how many will be willing to pay up? BTW it takes 1/2 an hour to charge the cars. Hmmm, 5 or 6 minutes at a gas station or 30 minutes plugged into a socket.
