No we hardly hear from him any more, and she had gotten him into taking drugs and a few other things that isn't so good, plus we have no phone number to get a hold of him, and I'm not really sure why he doesn't keep in touch with us other then it might be guilt, we have never ill treated him, and We still love the kid as our own..

He did come around a few years back, and I had taken him too Massachusetts with me to work but He messed up there when he gave a motel room to some one for free, and that didn't go over to good with the owner.. He then stayed with us for a little while but then moved in with his uncle, and then from there he moved back to Virginia..

My Sister raised his sister for a few years, and his older brother stayed with us for a few months when he was down on his luck. His brother keeps in touch with us more then he does

As you can see he looks very content in that photo, He was doing so well with us before she up and grabbed him from us. We both hope that the seeds we've planted will take root and grow with in him some day

How fun to see you, Mel.  Great photo of you and the family.

Hear these stories about the kids all the time.....is this young man still in touch with you or did he totally disappear from your lives?  Hope that it, at least, he was treated well by his natural mother and had a good childhood.  Lucky that he had a good start with your family....the character is built early.  You're a good man.
