As a (up coming) Birthday gift, I was presented today with a HUGE American Flag. I told the group that I will donate the flag to a place where she can be free and not inside of a box.

I am looking for a nice office building, organization or place were this flag can wave with pride. Great for parades, political events, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts etc.

Hello all,

Today, Blackie (yep, that is his first name), one of my warehouse brothers came into my office to let me know that he wants to give me a birthday present. I have fire on my eyes, and proceed to tell him, "I do not receive any type of gifts from employees", I said thanks to him, and tell him to leave my office, unless we have any business' related topic to speak about.

He didn't move and continued to stand on my door with a huge smile on his face. I normally ask my employees to put a "war face" when talking with me.

After a quiet moment, with a loud voice he told me. Private E-3 Enloe will like to speak with you Sir. I almost die! He wants to let me know that he is going to the Army, "Fort Jackson first (Like your Daughter Sir) he told me and after that I am going to Fort Lee VA". He did show me his enlistment document!

That was my Birthday present from one of my employees, Blackie, my favorite orphan guy and employee will be back as our new mechanic! The 21 weeks waiting for his return are going to be long. He will be back as Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic! He joins the long list of servicemen of my company!

Nice birthday present! Very nice! It was worthy to be his mentor!It is nice to speak with the young people about loving this country! This is what the Constitution is about!

Like you, I did have tears on my eyes! (He WAS NOT with me at that time)

Sharon my dear Sister,

You are the best witness of my journey in America, you saw me as a Parking lot security guard and now we can seat together and talk about our country. It is a bout our freedoms.

Now you will understand why is that I love my Flag so much!

Thanks to you and your inputs, I am extending my research. Every time that you read our history you always learn something new and brings you closer to understand our Founder Father's (and mothers) sacrifices and point of views.

Yes, indeed, Angelo.  It WAS a great evening....so appreciate your enthusiasm and your active interest in America's history.  What a shame that most of us born in America do not know...or take the time to learn...why AMERICA IS EXCEPTIONAL.

Was great to be with you and Sharon talking about our history and one of my very favorite people of all time:  GEORGE WASHINGTON.....along with the early beginnings of many other of our revolutionary men who didn't sit back when they knew we were under tyranny....they got people excited about FREEDOM...INDIVIDUALISM....OPPORTUNITY WITH WORK......and then FOUGHT for those beliefs.   Your teaching of the ties we had with the American Indian tribes years before our Declaration of Independence and Constitution were created and how their influence and own laws were incorporated by our Founding Fathers was excellent.  Thank you, Angelo.  :)
