Debate Moderators

The Presidential Primary Debate moderators have been announced:PBS Jim Lehrer, first Pres debate, Oct 3 Denver... CNN Candy Crowley, town hall, Oct 16, Hempstead NY... CBS Bob Schieffer, third Pres debate, Oct. 22, Boca Raton... ABC Martha Raddatz, VP debate, Oct 11, Danville KY...This leaves me wondering, though. As irrelevant as broadcast networks have become, why are 3 of the 4 moderators from broadcast networks? And further, why is the 4th from a cable news network which also has ratings in…See More

CALL TO ACTION: Financial Markets Crisis

Yesterday, like many, I was a bit panicked by the sudden drop in the markets. Much of which it appears to be gained back today. The markets are quite volatile now and it's hard to know which hit them the worst yesterday, the S&P downgrade or the comments from the S&P about why they issued the downgrade. Regardless, it is clear that not only are the ratings agencies not satisfied by Congress' actions, but neither is Wall Street. I viewed this as a personal call to action yesterday and…See More

Can We End the Political Theater?

Fellow Patriots,Most of us have fairly recently become much more interested in Politics and involved as well. We have come to a point in our history that we have found we can no longer trust that politicians are simply doing the people's business. Thanks to the unprecidented rise of technology over especially the last 15 years, and with the growth and changes in the Internet, we are finally able to check in on and even monitor, LIVE, the proceedings in Washington, D.C. from our disparate…See More

Fellow Patriots,

Most of us have fairly recently become much more interested in Politics and involved as well. We have come to a point in our history that we have found we can no longer trust that politicians are simply doing the people's business. I think that the Health Care Freedom Amendment in Kansas was defeated. If I heard right, "they" said that it could be opposed at the federal level and that the state didn't need to do anything. I guess that the legislature believes that we are idiots who need to be taken care of.

Hi David,
In response to the Sun Newspapers article about District 3 Candidates you can read my reply to Chuck Kurtz and Steve Rose by clicking on this link.
The FEC website show Lightner, Gilyeat and Rysavy as legally announced candidates.
