I am the mother who initiated the online petition requesting the City of Overland Park to move the “Accept or Reject” sculpture from the Arboretum to an adult venue. I was at the Arboretum yesterday with my four children and happened upon this statue. I was unaware of it or the controversy surrounding it. I just wanted to let you know that I was headed home to do just what you have done! Thanks for putting yourself out there and for standing up for our little ones.
