It has been said that John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the White House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."
Here are just a few quotes from Thomas Jefferson that illustrate President Kennedy’s remark:

Obama has appointed Loretta Lynch to replace Eric Holder in the position of Attorney General when Holder vacates that position later this year. In Wednesday’s hearings, in which she was seeking Senate confirmation for the position, Ms. Lynch said that she believes that non-citizens in the United States have the same right-to-work as do actual citizens of the nation.
I wonder if this right-to-work philosophy has been cleared with Obama and his liberal supporters, the…Continue
It has been some time sinse I have said anything, but I can no longer hold back.
Obama is going to use his pen and Veto a number of bills which are going to pass the Senate.
We need each of us to write to as many Senators and Congerssm we can, and strongly request that they come together, Republicans and Democrats alike and Vote to OVERIDE his coming Veto's.
If Obamas Veto's are not overidden, we have lost our country.
Just say welcome to the new president…Continue

FROM KANSANS AGAINST COMMON CORE:
What we are faced with in America today is apathy, ignorance, and a lack of motivation to pursue the American Dream.
Because of the policies of those who want to bring a progressive, socialist utopia to this nation, we are now faced with almost more people living here that are Dependant on the government to get by than those who work to support our economy.
America was never designed to be a nation of takers, it was founded to give people the opportunity to be the best at…Continue
After all these years Al Sharpton has taken his race tactics to a new level and is reminding us of a song by his late friend James Brown. Yes papa Al has a brand new bag and it involves engaging in a fight against the…Continue

Last night we had the opportunity to attend the annual 10th Amendment Dinner hosted by the Kansas Sovereignty Coalition. I will admit, I wondered if liberty-loving had lost its draw and patriots no longer were interested in coming together for the sake of the country. I worried for…Continue

Conservatives repeatedly warned of the dangers of Obamacare, but now that the bill is becoming fully implemented some Harvard professors are complaining about the drastic increase in costs of their insurance under the bill that they loudly supported. Where were these supposedly intelligent people when all of this was being discussed and explained? They had their heads up Obama’s backside, that’s where they were.
Dianne Feinstein hurriedly and publically released the Senate Torture…Continue
(I wrote this for my facebook page, but I figured I might as well share it here as well)
Lets hear it for American ingenuity, gas is at the lowest its been in years. But while Obama likes chalk this up as a major success of his administration, its always best to look at the facts instead of just enjoying that warm little feeling inside and saying "yeah, he was finally right!". Since 2008, the US has become a energy producing powerhouse, not the green energy that Obama has been…Continue
It cannot be over emphasized how important it is for us to know what it means to be an American. Freedom is the chief component and benefit that we enjoy as a citizen of the freest, best, and most powerful nation on earth.
We should be proud and thankful, but also be willing to defend our liberty and share the meaning of freedom and liberty to those who don't fully understand it.
We are truly blessed to live in a nation where we can still exercise our free speech, and…Continue
There are 435 bellybuttons in the US House of Representatives. The Speaker of the House controls 75% of what gets passed and 99% of what doesn't. We need new leadership. We predict that Boehner will prevail despite our efforts but we must make the calls to send a message!
ps: Here is a message from Dr. Milton Wolf on this subject with some great links!

When I was in elementary school our Sheriff came to speak to my class. He talked about various subjects.
At the end of his speech he said something that I have never forgotten.
He said that 90% of the people in this room will never live to see the year 2000.
He started talking about statistics and how many of us in the room would die of different causes, before the year 2000. At the time he was a drug enforcement officer. Drugs were one…Continue

I’ve received several requests to reduce to writing some thoughts expressed both publicly and privately regarding a portion of scripture: “…Render therefor unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s (King James Version, Matt. 22:21),” (Mark 12:17, Luke 20:25).
When combined with Romans 13:1-7 a great…Continue

I really wanted to write down my thought’s about the current pending situation in Ferguson MO. In this day an age, I have noticed how the fabric of American society is being teardown piece by piece, by a culture of chaos and violence that is imminent in the minority community. These so called agitators such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are not the problem but part of the problem, do let me explain. When I was growing up in San Francisco the city of my birth, most of the…Continue
The United States and its citizens have come a long way in the past 6 years and they now despise Obama and his unlawful, unconstitutional, lying presidency. And what’s more, they would be further alienated from him if all of the scandals and lies of his administration were presented for all to see during an impeachment hearing and the resulting trial.
Obama makes noises that dare the Republicans to impeach him, when actually the impeachment process might divert him from the…Continue

There was a time in western democracies when liberals were pleasant people/politicians who genuinely wanted the best for the greatest number of citizens, and were willing to work within a representative government to achieve their goals. In retrospect it seems that this period of innocence on the part of liberals and the un-liberal changes they’ve undergone in recent years is related to their influential positions in government and the press/media, because now that there is a…Continue

It’s obviously upsetting when we hear that one of the key creators of a legislative bill thinks that voters are stupid and must be lied to in order to get the bill passed, but that’s just the tip of the “pissed-off” iceberg. Why would the leader of a true democracy ever feel the need to confuse, mislead and lie about a bill in order to fool the public if he truly believed in his own democracy and the dignity of the people who voted him into office? HE WOULDN’T! But since Obamacare was the…Continue
