A friend, who is anything but an Obama apologist, commented as follows:
Stu, He spoke at the memorial service and he placed the wreath. What's wrong with playing golf afterward? Most everyone else either went to the beach or a bbq, and many even took advantage of Memorial Day sales. Personally I hung around the house and watched a couple movies with my daughter and then did a bunch of chores. We did this AFTER we watched placement of the wreath and the service.

A Michigan pharmacist was fired by Walgreens last week for protecting himself during an attempted robbery. Jeremy Hoven, was working the early morning hours when two armed, masked robbers burst into the store. Hoven attempted to dial 911, but one of the masked men jumped over the counter before he could complete the call. With this threatening man five feet away, Hoven drew his gun and fired. Hoven is licensed by the state to carry a gun and he was in immediate danger, but…Continue

Common sense would tell a responsible person that the way our nation has traditionally been run (limited, restrained government, few regulations on individuals and businesses, adherence to the constitution, allowing the drilling for our own sources of fuel on our own land and in our own waters, spending sensibly within a budget) causes the least pain for the population at large, leads to a lower cost of living for the population and facilitates a low unemployment rate.

The foolish and radical Obama administration is making deceitful decisions that appear to be retreating from their former ultra-radical positions, but only after they’ve taken much criticism and abuse.
Reports claim that Obama is permitting drilling once again in the gulf and is withdrawing some regulations that the EPA was planning to dump on our economy, but only under political pressure; the administration has decided not to have a public trial for KSM after…Continue

Why would something so potentially "big" in a political sense; be organized at the Woodlands with no access to indoor facilities in case of inclement weather?
Would love to see this concept in the hands of someone like Rep. Steve King who organized the Conservative Principles Conference in Des Moines in March.
That conservative line up they had in Des Moines with the exception of Newt would be great too. (Bachman, Bolton, DeMint, Cain, King, Santorum and…Continue

Barack Obama is a liar, pure and simple. But when he makes statements about increasing taxes, causing electric rates to "necessarily sky-rocket", increase regulations on businesses causing business failures and increased unemployment, or when he makes a statement contrary to Israel's or our own national security, you'd better believe him, because our Barry hates everything that's traditional, good and successful about this great nation, and he and his administration are actively…Continue

THIS IS NOT directed at any one party THEY ARE ALL
CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH
here's an example of why (just one of many reasons why) I don't trust my government for one second to tell me the truth or to conduct themselves in an honorable way.
Does anyone remember (the government hopes not or its been so long ago they just "conveniently" choose to skip over it) when the government BORROWED (their words) from the Social Security Fund just to TEMPORARILY…
These prayers are from a booklet published by Harrison House of Tulsa, OK. The booklet contains prayers for our leaders, the social welfare, the safety, and the spiritual growth of America. I do not take any credit for writing them but will share them, one at a time, for those who are interested. "It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God." G. Washington, in his first presidential…Continue

For those of us who know who and what Barack Hussein Obama really is, his latest (and most overt) betrayal of Israel was hardly surprising.
But now I wonder how long it will be until "the other shoe drops".
Under Obama, the U.S. has now undeniably turned against Israel diplomatically. But that is only the beginning.
Given the right pretext (e.g., Israel forced to invade the "Palestinian State" in order to defend itself…Continue

So - let's give BILLIONS in foreign aid to Pakistan so they can support our enemies and undermine our efforts... Then we can make commitments to give BILLIONS more in new aid in the false hope that we can actually buy friends from groups dedicated to destroying the American way of life. Now we throw Israel under the bus by supporting their enemies - - and of course we tell everyone how we really support them, just want to be reasonable. Who are we…Continue
