Societal Rape
Other than posting a poem the other day here on the Political Chips™ website, I haven’t previously blogged. I feel drawn to publish a couple of thoughts I had tonight though. I’m sure that, like me, many of you have also become apprehensive from time to time when, on almost a daily basis, one’s mind is assaulted with the knowledge of yet another Federal agency…

Christmas with a 'Fragile Family'
Christmas Day found us making a whirlwind day trip to Wichita, my husband Bruce's hometown, to gather at the home of one of his sisters -- the one with the Big House (isn't that the way it always goes??). His two sisters and two brothers, their spouses and teenage children, were also there. But among the celebrants was a young couple with a connection to the family that is tenuous at best, as they are not related by blood or marriage.
Follow me here, boys and girls. The woman in…

Liberals' Next Step in the Destruction of America
Coming quickly on the heels of the Liberals' lying claims that we must disproportionately tax rich people, and that to allow them to keep their own money would be unfair because of its "cost" to the government and the liberals' need of our money due to their inability to stop…

Bureaucratic Rule is not in the Constitution
Message to the Kansas Delegation....... (Incumbents and Newly Elected)
American citizens have endured the heavy handed agenda of Obama and the Demogratic congress for two years. Finally a message was sent in November to stop the madness of deficit spending and return to a smaller government that was accountable to the electorate.
Now we have bureaucrats at the FCC who will regulate what has not been legislated? Who is running this government? What is the…
