"Congressional Reform Act of 2012" as suggested by Warren Buffet

Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes about the debt ceiling and polotics:

"I could end the deficit in 5 minutes," he told CNBC. "You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election.

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to…

OUR GOVERNMENT "BORROWED" FROM US AND "FORGOT" TO PAY US BACK

THIS IS NOT directed at any one party THEY ARE ALL

CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH

here's an example of why (just one of many reasons why) I don't trust my government for one second to tell me the truth or to conduct themselves in an honorable way.

Does anyone remember (the government hopes not or its been so long ago they just "conveniently" choose to skip over it) when the government BORROWED (their words) from the Social Security Fund just to TEMPORARILY…

Dear Speaker Boehner:

The reading of our Constitution at the opening of the 112th Congress was certainly an historic event. Our Constitution is a remarkable document that contains the principles upon which this great country was founded, and upon which we have thrived for over 234 years. Our…
