About Last Night...

Obama. And his speech.

I did not watch it. I was preoccupied with yanking out a hang nail.

Although other people did watch, pontificate and fact check:

Who had the worst week in Washington?

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) .

"And just when it looked like things had bottomed out for her, the Cook Political Report, a respected political handicapping service, moved the 2012 Senate race in Missouri from “lean Democratic” to “toss up” late Thursday."

Florida Judge Defends Decision to Allow Sharia Law to Decide Civil Case

Arbitration agreements are nothing new in civil law. In fact, they're quite common; product disputes, labor relations and even pre-nups abound, and basically fall into two types: binding and non-binding. Religious arbitration of civil disputes has long been used by Christians and Jews, subject to secular court… Continue

Sen. McCaskill (D-MO) Airplane Tax Bill to Include $80K in Additional Interest

It's a Swiss-made Pilatus plane and has been quite troublesome for McCaskill as of late. Or rather her profligate misuse of tax payer dollars to fund her little outings on the machine, coupled with delinquent tax payments, are the source of the senator's troubles.

From the… Continue

Sen. McCaskill (D-MO) will Sell the "Damn Plane"

You know. The plane she and her husband own that she billed the taxpayers $76,000 since 2007, and never reimbursed - until the story became public.

You know. The private plane she and her husband own and didn't pay personal property taxes  - totaling $287,000 -… Continue

Some County Judge in Wisconsin Halts Collective Bargaining Law

Ostensibly, because the legislative committee violated the state’s open meetings law.

From the Journal Sentinel:

"The judge’s finding – at least for now – is a setback to Republican Gov. Scott Walker and a victory for opponents, who have spent weeks in the Capitol to protest the bill.

Asst. Atty. Gen Steven Means, who was part of the state's legal team, said after the ruling that "we disagree…

13th Annual Christian Education & College Expo, March 19 in KCMO

"The expo typically draws several thousand people who are looking at various levels of education including K-12, homeschooling, plus high school students anxious to visit with dozens of college admission representatives.

“This is a great opportunity for parents to visit with quality schools and meet the teachers and administrators,” said Anita Widaman, expo coordinator, “It's really a one-stop shopping experience”.…

Missouri Welfare Benefits Being Spent in Hawaii, Alaska, etc

From KMOV News 4:
"Brian Hook runs Missouri Watchdog, a non partisan group that digs information out of government agencies. Hook says the transactions might not be fraud, but likely illustrate waste. Hook said, "The first thing that jumps to my mind is where did they get the money to get to Hawaii and Alaska."

Pro-Union Protests Spread to Other States

Protesters are now turning their sites on Ohio and Indiana, with much of the pro-union astro-turf organized by far left agitators "MoveOn dot Org," et al.

And, like the "fleebaggers" from Wisconsin, Indiana has its own crop of AWOL democrat lawmakers fleeing their responsibilities in the face of…
