My Question - Is the Tea Party sleeping???

Some of the folk on the left have stated the Tea Party is gone and no longer a force to be counted in the upcoming political contests.  I truly pray that is not the situation - yet, we attended the Tea Party rally yesterday at the J.C. Nichol's fountain at the Kansas City Plaza and there were maybe 50 attendees.  I believe the elections this Fall will be the most significant in our lifetimes and that it's effects could change our nation for generations.  We flexed the Tea Party muscle in 2010 and modified the face of the "House" and almost won back the "Senate".  Whether we choose to believe it or not, Obama is a formidable opponent and he has millions of "Kool-Aid" drinkers fawning over his every word.  Mit Romney is our champion, yet his campaign thus far seems to be reminiscent of McCain in 2008.  I hope and pray Mit will start illustrating that he has the "fire" to compete and that the Tea Party will once again become a force in the political arena.  We all must pledge our time and resources if we want to be successful in November.

My brother and sister ( Paul & Peggy).

With due respect, the TEA Party is sleeping, snoring and unable to wake up and stop the terrible nightmares of our country. Our country identity is gone, we can’t or we don’t want to be, act, walk and talk like Americans.

The government is giving away visas, green cards, employment authorizations, citizenship and more to all the  “little invaders” and people breaking the laws. Did the TEA party send a press release about it? Did someone comment about this issue here?

I am warning you now, that all the new and up coming American citizens, all those coming from the DREAM ACT fields, will gain the supremacy and majority with their votes and they will tell us how to proceed. They are receiving classes, conferences, conventions etc…..

Colleges, lawyers and organizations (With our taxes) are holding meetings with this young people; they are talking about “La Reconquista”( The Re Conquest) , they talking about La “Revolucion Canela” (Brown Revolution)……They are talking about re-claiming “their” territories (AZTLAN Territory).

One sign caught my attention at one of these meetings:  “If you think I’m illegal because I am Mexican….Learn the true history because YOU (American) are in my homeland”. (El Paso T. University)

Another similar sign closer to us: “Gringo, if you think I’m illegal because I am Mexican.  You better learn the true history, because I am in my homeland” (JCCC)

If you think Angelo is nuts (controversial and radical), read what professors are teaching in our Universities:  (some of their speeches are in youtube too)

Charles Truxillo (Carlos Trujillo) U. Of New Mexico

Felipe Gonzalez (U. of New Mexico)

Jose Angel Gutierrez (U. of Texas)

Samuel P. Huntington (Harvard University)

Allow me to share an advice with you. Just in case, start learning Spanish and find yourself a nice sombrero….until then my brother…...sorry….Hasta la vista hermano.

Wake up Americans!

Despiertate Americano!

You are so right Nathan: "I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country."[

Leah, you said you didn't know any candidate who had too many volunteers. Unfortunately I do - 2 of them, and they are running for KS Senate and KS House in my districts. No one around me knows them and believe me, I have tried to volunteer for them and get them motivated! So I'm helping candidates in other districts - knowing that what they do will affect me as a Kansan. Even if your candidates don't seem to want help driving, putting signs together, delivering signs, putting together lit for drops - there are others running nearby who do!

I agree Alex!  I wasn't at the Tea Party yesterday because I was walking in a parade for a Senate candidate!  I was able to talk to several people who are now going to be voting for Greg Smith.  You are right Paula and Peggy, it's time to pledge our time and resources.

I am helping several candidates right now and I don't know of anyone that has too many volunteers!  Call one up send and email and ask what you can do to help.  They need help walking precincts, drivers for the walkers, putting together signs, putting together lit drops, calling potential voters etc.

The short answer is no.   Organizations like Political CHIPS have moved onto bigger and better projects geared towards actually fixing the problems and changing the game (see CHIPS project).   This is going to be a long upward climb but the Conservative Movement is alive and well.  Results will be measured one election at a time.  Hang in there :)

Thank you for your support!
