Political CHIPS - Conservative Heritage Institute for Principled Strength

The last couple years have been a whirlwind of protests, rallies, sign-waves, campaigns, and elections.  Many of us never participated in any of these events before the Tea Party Movement began.  We have had huge successes and heart wrenching losses.  Through all the ups and downs, we have gained experience, insight, and knowledge to keep growing and shaping ourselves.  There has to be an evolution from a novice band of loud protesters standing up for our beliefs to a seasoned group of organized leaders who will lead our country back to greatness.  The process of transition can be painful and frustrating, but the only way to sustain our progress is to mold ourselves into a force that cannot be ignored or written-off.

Political CHIPS is hard at work on the transition.  We are looking for sustainable solutions to the problems of our country.  We support those who took it upon themselves to plan this year's Tax Day Tea Parties.  Their efforts should not be ignored, but supported.  In 2009, thousands of people traveled from all over the area to support us at Johnson County Community College.  Last year, even more people traveled for hours to support us at Community Ball Park.  This year there are tea parties all around.  It might require some traveling time, but to support our fellow tea partiers, it's worth it.  Right?

JOIN US AT THESE TEA PARTIES (INFORMATION FOR ALL TEA PARTIES CAN BE FOUND IN THE EVENT SECTION OF POLITICAL CHIPS)

Sad to say that the Tea Party  Rally today was poorly attended. All these comments and no one showed up. No Patriots left in K.C. ???? Have we forgotten what the Tea Party movement accomplished In November?

Wonderful blog leslie...you are so right...a band of brothers and sisters trying to change things from the bottom up.  Hope to see everyone at the Tea party rally on the 15th in KC, check the events page, just added one.

And Pelosi called us astro-turf HA! Now Reid et al are blaming the Tea Party for nearly causing a gov't shutdown! Those evil Tea Party members are influencing the Republican members of congress, stop it! Only the unions, socialists/communists have the right to do that. ;-)

I think that is part of the beauty of the Tea Party!  We don't have a head, an organization, a formal plan.  We are a grass roots movement of the citizens.  We banded together for the past two years to show that we are a force.  Now, we are showing that we are still here ... EVERYWHERE!!!

I will be at the one in Jefferson City on Tuesday. It does seem strange to me that there is not anything going on in K.C.
