The mood at a LARGE Christian event held this past weekend was one of "we don't want to hear about Politics, Let's LIVE and let GOD take care of the rest."
WOW!, This blows my mind, and let's me know that we Conservatives have a whole lot of work to do, not only among our friends and neighbors, but with Christians.
A similar problems exists in the Black community. Blackness blinds it's members to the facts and issues. Instead of realizing that it is Character, Principles, and beliefs that make a person a strong leader, they rely on the fact that just because the person is "BLACK" I will show my allegiance to him or her. Never mind that the person is 180 degrees out of sync with good sound principles that made this nation great.
They also think that the government owes them something, and that I should be able to obtain it with out any hard work or effort. This mindset has been pass down to the community by the so called "Black Community Leaders" whose real goal is to sty in power and to keep a brother down.
HOUSTON, we have a PROBLEM! We have to work long and hard to solve it or we will lose our great Constitutional Republic.
The American Dream is available and attainable to ALL Americans. If you fail to succeed, it's your fault. Hard work, determination and will determines your level of success. Wake up and use them to achieve!

First US Supreme Court Justice and writer for the Federalist Papers had this to say.
“Providence has given to Our People the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian Nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”
Of the 20 to 25% of those voting, I wonder how many practice Christian Principals?
Comment by Kathy Brown, Esq. on September 9, 2012 at 11:49pm Tell you what: As dear Gov. Huckabee says, 'We're all Catholics now'. With the advent of Obama we all got how we're involved, or we're dissolved. That's basically it.
The Obamanation's set his face against God, country and family. He's got a whole army of creatures just like him: We just saw their twisted, contorted-with-rage faces at the DNC when they were trying to stamp God-yes, that's a capital letter there-out of existence.
Any Christian who imagines they can leave the 'politics' alone and just live their lives? They're working with the Enemy. There's no neutral anymore.
Comment by John Stolte on September 9, 2012 at 10:00pm I phone bank for candidates every day. I encounter this frequently. Why do so many Christians feel this way? God gave us the power to chart our own course - to either live in accordance with his law or to stray from it and be judged on Judgement Day.
Let's live and let God handle it would have worked 25 years ago. I wonder if they have the same view of evangelism, missions and discipleship? It is almost a fatalistic approach to faith and politics; No personal responsibility for either one.
