We all know that one of the favorite tools in the arsenal of the left is the threat of a boycott. They have done it to Rush and to Beck; to the Susan Kohmen Foundation and to anyone else who advertises on a Conservative radio or TV show or who supports a Conservative cause.
It doesan't amaze me that the left does it. What amazes me is that the sponsors and advertisers get sucked in by this tactic. These people advertise and or sponsor because it is good business - the shows are popular and the audience buys their products and services. Why do these sponsors and advertisers cave in to some left-wing loon who calls in and says "if you don't stop advertising on ----------, I'm going to stop using your product or service"? Do they seriously believe that if they don't stop advertising or sponsoring something that Mr. left-wing, unemployed, loser, know nothing, never even held a decent job is going to make an impact on their sales figures. Don't these folks understand that we Conservatives who use their product will continue to use their product? What does their caving say about their esteem for those who like what Rush or Beck say or what the Susan G. Kohmen Foundation does?
It really seems to me that these advertisers and sponsors don't even consider the support they receive from Conservatives. They are all to willing to throw us under the bus in order to please the lunatic fringe that makes all the phone calls during their idle, leisure filled days fueled by unemployment compensation, welfare and food stamps.
We are being hurt by the leisure class that lives off the income earners. It's time for us to be making some phone calls!
