Defamation by the left.
First of all I want to thank God for his many blessings and secondly I would like to thank you all for being part of my political chips family. Now even though there are many of you that I have not had the pleasure of meeting I know one day I will. I also would like to thank our brave men and woman for protecting our country from the many dangers that our country faces each day. They always do such an outstanding job!! and so our troops and their families are in my prayers always. Brothers and Sisters, we are two months away from dare I say the most important election of our lifetime. We need to continue to voice our displeasure with the current administration and never back down from our conservative values and principles. Never be ashamed of who you are and always stand ready to defend the truth. If it wasn’t for your courage and determination to say NO to the obama political machine I don’t know where we would be today. So thank you for your noble fight my beloved, you are in my prayer also. I know in my heart that there still is hope for our country, not the hope that Obama talked about four years ago, but hope of an America who exemplifies freedom and liberty in spite of tyranny, so keep on fighting the good fight.
After watching highlights of the RNC I must say I have a great sense of optimism in my heart. Mitt Romney although maybe not the first choice for any conservative has a proven track record as a businessman and family man. His VP choice Paul Ryan is a fresh face, a rising star in the tea party who clearly understands the economy and the financial market. Heck as far as I'm concerned he already makes a better Vice President then Joe Biden!! Marco Rubio is someone who I have looked for inspiration this is a man I can clearly relate to. As a first born American and seeing how your parents have worked hard to provide for you and your family you can only be thankful. It pushes you to work hard and better yourself so in turn they can be proud of you and your accomplishments. What a cheap shot from the left when they claim that minorities who are conservative are nothing but dumb and sellouts. In watching the RNC I saw people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, gender, religion all proud of being Americans. What’s interesting? is that these conservatives who happen to be minorities: are educated individuals who love their country and will die in a hearbeat for it. What is there not to like about that? But the liberals see it as a menace to their agenda.

Thank you Yvonne and John for commenting. I would like to add that we (conservatives) should never be scared to speak up!! To many of our leaders are trying to cater and compromise to the democrats and libs. When you stand for conservative values and principles that aligned with the teachings from the Bible you should never be embarrassed to speak up. Thank you my family for your hardwork love you guys!!!

If only more Americans would be thankful as you and your listing of what to be thankful for, David! We have all become so spoiled and so jaded that it is sadly true way too many are in the "entitlement" mentality of "we deserve it.....we have rights to it....." yada, yada, yada.
NEVER BACK DOWN is a perfect rallying cry....STAND UP, SPEAK OUT....which you...and Angelo have so aptly been able to do for the often-confused and unsure Hispanic population.
We're all told by the media that the majority Hispanic population is ALL Left leaning, with the implication that they all only want "free stuff".....I don't believe that about the Hispanic NOR about many in the black population, but do believe that way too many are confused and unsure as they struggle for who to believe about what. This is why it is so necessary to have Chippers like you and Angelo who are able to relate and express the conservative values, traditions, and TRUTHS.....
As New Mexico Republican Governor Martinez so dramatically realized one long-ago day---once someone (like you?) explained the issue differences to her and her husband...."Well, I'll be damned. We're Republicans!"
THANK YOU, David, for your determination and your own courage to voice these values, traditions, and the TRUTH to those who need to hear it from YOU......

We worked very hard in 2010 to gain the House. Let us all pray that we have worked hard enough to take the Senate, retain the House and gain the Presidency this year. Let us not lose sight of the battle we still face at the State and local level, with the media and with the portion of the business community which has sold out to progressive, liberal and politically correct notions of how the country should be run. That community has a 100 year head start on us and we can never rest on our past or present victories. We MUST continue to press forward with our Conservative values and our Conservative agenda.

David, I love the words you write! I remember you from Darla's show, and also from a campaign in 2010 when you and I were helping the same candidate win her KS Rep. race. (She did!) It is so good to hear from those who, because of their heritage, are said to all be liberal Obama supporters because they want all the free stuff. We know it is not true, but that's how they are portrayed by the left. I am so glad you and Angelo and others are speaking out - saying how proud you are to be Americans and that you DO understand what it means to work hard, love and honor God, do the right thing, and live in freedom! I will be standing with you, voting for Gov. Romney and Rep. Ryan in November!
