See MoreWe've all seen the video of the Chick-fil-A window clerk being harassed by a fool, simply because she was an employee for the company. However, there's an even more disgraceful exhibition of alleged Liberal "Tolerance," and this is seen in a video taken on the so-called Gay Kiss-in Day. (Really, I feel childish just typing in that ridiculous reference.)
It deals with an older black man reading his Bible aloud outside the Chicago Chick-fil-A store, and how he was set upon by this bunch of thugs showing their brand of "civility."
This was first recorded and posted by Anne Sorock, one of the bloggers at "Legal Insurrection", a well-regarded conservative website hosted by Cornell law professor William Jacobson. Sorock was able to identify the chief thug as one "Spencer Thunderball Thayer" (and if you believe that's his birth name, I have this bridge to sell), who is associated with -- no surprise -- OWS and anarchist groups.
Was he remorseful about the way he bullied this older man? He made this comment at Facebook:
"I have no problem admitting I was a total d*ck. But no less of a d*ck than this f*ck."
Classy. I'm sure his mother is proud of her son.
At the very start of the entire controversy, when Mayors Emmanuel and Moneno were spouting off their Not In My Backyard sentiments about Chick-fil-A building in Chicago and Boston, a conservative pundit likened their attitude to the Nazis who painted Juden with the Star of David on Jewish shops in pre-war Germany. He found similarities to the way Dan Cathy was persecuted for his religious beliefs with those persecuted Jewish business owners. However, I can't fully agree with the comparison. Not all Jews were religious, and the Nazis intimidated Jews due to anti-Semitic attitudes which had pervaded Europe for centuries, coupled with their perverse idea of eugenics.
Yet I knew I had seen this type of behavior before: youth intimidating their elders for their traditional beliefs. Remember these images?
They were the Chinese Red Guards, teens and young adults who terrorized China during the mid-1960's. They roamed the country in packs, wearing Mao jackets and waving copies of Quotations from Chairman Mao, destroying everything that represented traditional Chinese culture, and humiliating their elders who refused to give up their traditions. The bottom picture shows the Red Guards degrading Catholic nuns as they drove them from their church. Religious intolerance was the order of the day during the "Cultural Revolution."
Our intolerant Left, including militant gays, is nearly identical in attitude to the old Red Guards: implacable, remorseless, filled with mad fury against anyone who would oppose them in their intended destruction of our Judeo-Christian practices. They debase traditional Americans, no matter their age or circumstance. They don't want to earn our respect, rather they would grind us under their boots.
I can visualize the new American incarnation of the old Red Guards -- only they'll be the Lavender Guard, wearing foppish jackets and carrying rainbow-bound copies of Torch Song Trilogy. At least they'll be more fashionable.

One sentence that stood out to me was your "They don't want to earn our respect...."
Two words don't compute. These intolerant, militant, remorseless, bigoted, uneducated, indoctrinated, contemptuous young skulls of mush have no idea whatsoever what either EARN or RESPECT mean or represent. I'll also add TRUTH to their long list of unknown words.
