Grand Jury Petition - Sculpture Promotes Obscenity to Minors

This evening, Phillip Cosby of AFA, George Hsu, and myself met with Mayor Gerlach of Overland Park.  He denied my request to present the petition to the City Council, and the City will not move the sculpture to an adult venue.  AFA is taking it to the next level by calling for a grand jury investigation.  We believe this sculpture promotes obscenity to children.  We need approximately 4,000 handwritten signatures of registered voters in Johnson County in order for this issue to be taken before a grand jury.
