Dear friends, fellow patriots and fellow countrymen. I would like to take this time and express my outrage and discussed, regarding the shameful, outrages and traitorous comment made a couple weeks ago by a member of our supreme court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Where she stated the fallowing statement regarding the Constitution of the United States:

'' she would look elsewhere – Canada, South Africa and Europe – should she be tasked with writing a constitution now ''

If these places which she has mentioned do in fact have the best forms of government or Constitutions, then why is it that for many many decades, people in most cases from these very mentioned countries, flocked to our shores by the boat loads????? . Now this is coming from an individual or official who mined you, had sworn or taken an oath to uphold, protect and safeguard the very document which she is now discarding as out dated and no longer relevant in the modern day. Well my argument against such blasphemes and outrages slander of our countries most sacred document is this!.....'' that some things in life are NEVER! out dated and DO NOT! have a shelf life expectancy period!. Such as breathing air, eating food and drinking water in order to survive, man has been doing these things since the dawning of time, for they are needed and necessary to sustain life. Now must we say that because it all began hundreds of thousands of years ago, that these necessities are out dated and no longer applicable in the so called modern era???...OF COURSE NOT!..this would be ludicrous. If we don't eat, breath or drink our physical body will parish rather we like it or not, this is the pure and simple truth...PERIOD!. So its irrelevant that man kind has been doing these things for an eternity, they are just as relevant today as they were at the beginning, and they will be just as relevant a thousand years from now and so on, because this is the nature of man, he needs these so to survive. I would now like to give another example if I may, which I believe will back my argument even stronger. This is regarding some of the laws or sentiments regarding certain acts or behaviours which have been around for many centuries across the glob in all countries and societies in all parts of world. These are mans intolerance and disdain for the acts of Murder, rape, theft and lying. It doesn't matter what country you are in, if one comets either one of these atrocities in some countries regarding the crimes of murder and rape, he will most likely be stoned, shot, hung, or as in the Roman times be crucified on the cross, and with theft he is either imprisoned or as in most Muslim countries his hand will be cut off. Now as I have pointed out mans intolerance towards such despicable acts has been around for many many centuries. So are we today, to say that our scorn and intolerance towards rape, murder, theft and lying, are no longer applicable or relevant in today's modern age???? and that these acts should be legalised and accepted?????...OF COURSE NOT!. This is because some things in life as I have pointed out, are timeless and that they will always be relevant. Which now brings me to our countries Constitution, its is just as relevant today as it was when it was first drafted over three hundred years ago. How you might ask???....simple because the U.S Constitution, contrary to what some may think, was not a set of radical and innovative laws and ideas to benefit one group of people etc. But rather it was to represent and safeguard mans natural instinct and need to be free. After all, freedom it self is also another of mans necessities of which he cannot survive with out, this is the nature of all living animals, and man him self being a member of the animal Kingdom is no exception. I was trying to see where my home and othes are on the map - districts have changed for some of us, too. 

I do agree, Leah, about the recusal, but in the Senate, Owens has enough like-minded jerks to vote to approve this.

Sally, this is the map I got from Greg Smith!  Per Greg, they are 8 houses away from the proposed boundary line.  As far as I know, Greg is the only one that would be worked out of his own district.  

It seems to me that Tim Owens should recuse himself from this vote.

Leah, is there a map with the Streets marked on it?  And have the boundries of the Representative also been modified?  It would help to fully understand where the lines have been drawn for both the House and the Senate - to also see where people's homes are if it is passed. 

I am so furious about all this!  What a coward Owens is as co-chair of the redistricting committee!  He knows he can't beat Greg Smith on his own merits, so he finds a way to eliminate him because of his (Owens) office and power!   This is unconscionable!

This proposal would move Greg outside district 8.  It would put Greg Smith in the same district as Mary Pilcher Cook.  As far as I know, Greg is the only one who is being pushed out of his district.  If enough of us call, we should be able to stop it.

Leah, do you mean that this eliminates the district or that he would no longer live in the district? I guess Owens has to get revenge for Smith standing up to him last year in a public forum and for running against him for his senate seat.
