It’s official! Mitt Romney just cleaned President Obama’s clock in the first of three debates! In the coming days, it will be exponentially clear to the masses how devastating this blow was to Obama. During the debate and minutes following the debate, many of the liberal commentators were numb, confused, and disappointed in the performance of the chosen one.
In order to confirm my intuition, I ventured over to MSNBC to listen to what host Rachel Maddow had to say. Ms Maddow reluctantly acknowledged that Mitt Romney had a strong performance and that President Obama was weak. She was disappointed in the fact that the only mention of Mitt Romney’s record in Massachusetts was when Mitt Romney brought It up and boasted about it! She was disappointed that the entire focus of the “domestic” debate was on the economy. She concluded that President Obama neglected to touch on immigration, woman’s issues, and Romney’s misspeak about the 47% comment. She blamed moderator Jim Lehr for losing control of the debate but credited Romney for taking full advantage of the opportunity. I will sleep soundly tonight as this was music to my ears…………If you have not done so already, go get your Romney/Ryan sign (plus an extra 2 for a family member and friend) and proudly place it in your yards!

Comment by Yvonne Starks on October 8, 2012 at 2:46pm GOOD for you, Jeffrey. Good luck.....and don't back down....debate or interviews.
MOW HIM OVER ! Power mower. :) (get ready for liberals to call this 'too violent')
Comment by Jeffrey G. Locke on October 8, 2012 at 10:51am I am having my lone debate/forum with my opponent on October 17th from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Franklin Community Center in Franklin KS and I am going to mow him over with his record, or rather lack of any major legislation, over the past 20 years. He is just sitting in Topeka and taking the scraps thrown to the minority party back to the 2nd district and calling that "Working for Us".
We can and MUST do better than that for the 2nd district here in southeast Kansas!
I will command and frame and redirect as Romney did to Obama and demonstrate what real leadership is all about in a debate!
Comment by Kathy Brown, Esq. on October 5, 2012 at 12:32am Oh truly Greg: We can thank God for little favors. I'd forgotten all about poor Charlie.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Obama clones are all out drugging and drinking tonight. To excess! The better to cushion their shock.
As long as it isn't the Charlie Sheen version of, "Winning". Matthews all a flutter over Romney easily winning the debate is pretty funny.
Comment by Kathy Brown, Esq. on October 4, 2012 at 11:07pm Leslie, this video of Thrill-Up-My-Leg Matthews is priceless. Did you notice his hair? I mean it looks like the man's had his hand in an electrical socket.
I must say the sight of the Obama boot-lickers in disarray is a sight to behold. They're so immured in their Group-Speak, their senseless illogical 'rationales'? That when they're confronted with logic ('No Mr. President: The way to economic recovery is not to raise taxes! You must increase the pool of tax payers by incentivizing small businesses to create jobs!') they become demented. 'It's low oxygen!'.
As Jim says, lots more battles to come.
Comment by Yvonne Starks on October 4, 2012 at 10:10pm My post below, 11 hours ago as I write this....wrote $716 million taken from Medicare by ObamaCare. No, no, no.......
The correct figure is actually $716 BILLION. (Minor detail?.....since it seems that we've all become immune to these numbers!). Hard to get used to these outrageous figures....millions USED to be considered huge....but it's crumbs today with a deficit of $16 TRILLION....
Greg Knapp from KCMO radio talked about millions, billions, and trillions this morning.....he said that if you made a milllion dollars A DAY every day since Jesus was born....you still wouldn't have come to a trillion dollars yet! Think about it! That's for ONE TRILLION....and America's deficit is at $16 TRILLION.....uncomprehensible.....
Comment by Kathy Brown, Esq. on October 4, 2012 at 9:08pm Deb, loved your post. You need to show up here more often!
I really liked your point about how 'violent' Chris's metaphor was. Of course, we realize that such absurd rules only apply to us, the Right/Conservatives. The Left is free to use whatever words they wish. And you're right Deb: Look at how easily they all go to the violent talk! Shows how dictatorial they all are.
Comment by Beverly Gossage on October 4, 2012 at 5:13pm Got mine!
Comment by Deb Lucia on October 4, 2012 at 10:33am Matthews says MSNBC has "their knives out" and that Obama went into the debate disarmed. Hum. Isn't that violent talk?
Romney did well but Obama will come back. Obama looked smug, tired and old. Been drinking the $800/bottle champagne from Beyonce & JayZ event?
Romney looked youthful and energetic.
The problem Obama has is that his ads have been lies portraying Romney as bad, evil, etc. and now people saw the truth. Obama can't keep track of the lies. Romney has truth on his side. People now are going to doubt what Obama says. Romney did not come across as the evil rich out of touch uncaring guy. Obama came across as uncaring, out of touch and not truthful. Obama did not come across smart. Romney did. Obama came across as divisive, Romney a bring together common goal guy.
Did you see how many people changed their minds to Romney in Frank Luntz poll? That was amazing. I'm not getting too excited. We have a long way to go.
Comment by Yvonne Starks on October 4, 2012 at 10:21am No, Chris....Obama does not need to "learn something" from MSNBC. You have no audience except those who are already brain-dead zombie Obama followers already....
Besides, after all the touting for the past five or six years about how Obama is the smartest man to ever be in the White House....the only one who has ever CARED about "everybody....and especially OLD PEOPLE.....($716 million taken from them? Hello?), the most articulate and (clean?) reverberating speaker---why, THE ONE who even beat THE CLINTON MACHINE.....why now, after four years in the most powerful position in the world, would he need to learn from you, Chris Matthews, Rachael Maddow, or Ed Schultz.....
Matthews' use of Romney's going after Obama "like prey" was hysterical. Yep, that's what one calls LEADERSHIP.....knowing where one is weak and vulnerable (looked like everywhere for Obama last night)........and yes, WINNING......which we could certainly use in our dealings on an international level after four years of utter disaster.
Sure that Jim Lehrer does not appreciate Matthews' shredding of him as moderator..."whatever he was last night"....either. Love it when liberals are forced to eat their own as it does not happen at the rate that it does on the conservative side.
