Please contact your State Representative and ask them to co-sponsor and support the Second Amendment Protection Act. It states that "Any act, law, treaty, order, rule or regulation of the government of the United States which violates the second amendment to the constitution is null, void and unenforceable in the state of Kansas." It says that any personal firearm, firearm accessory or ammunition that is owned or manufactured commercially or privately in the state of Kansas and that remains within the borders of Kansas is not subject to federal law or regulation. It also has a provision in there that protects patients so that they cannot be denied treatment simply because they have a firearm in their home. They do not have to disclose that information.
This is a good bill that stands up for Kansans' gun rights. We would like to see 90 co-sponsors on this bill. Please contact your Representative today and voice your support for liberty in Kansas.
