Comment by joanne m. st.vincent on May 20, 2011 at 9:37am I'm interested in the Sept.28-Oct.4 tea party being held at the Woodlands. I've been a vendor at most of the tea parties in the KC area for the last 2 years. Some of you may have purchased a t-shirt I designed honoring Officer Crowley and the beer summit that followed at the White House.
$5.00 of each t-shirt sold (they sell for$15) is donated to local law enforcement. I firmly believe we need to keep our police officers strong and let them know we are behind them 100%
Has anyone any info on who to contact for this?
Thank you, Joanne St.Vincent
Karen, I don't understand that either, but I am seeing reports that Jewish groups are starting to attack Obama....I guess we shall see.
Thanks for the info Stan!

Comment by Stan Kreis on May 19, 2011 at 9:47pm It is important to note that Obama proposed that the 1967 lines, not borders, be the starting point for negotiaions between Israel and the Palestinians. Those lines go back to the Israeli War of Independence in 1948 and were cease-fire lines, not borders either. This is an important distincition because borders implies an already settled political question whereas cease-fire lines are not in this case permanent. What Israel has said all along is that the International Law on this is land for peace and an end to all hostilities after negotiations. The Palestinians want to treat these lines as borders because they can, for instance, then dismantle the Israeli settlements on the West Bank as intrusion on a soverign nation, which they are not. It all measures the starting point and existing rights of the two sides to the negotiations, Israel and Palestinians, as a basis for negotiations. What Obama has done is to side with the Palestinians on this important question by abrogating Israel's rights at the very beginning of any future negotiations under his administration.
The Lame-stream media uses the term "borders" to confuse the American people on the importance of Israel's reafirmation of its existing rights under International Law. Even Obama did not use the term borders in his speech, but used the term "lines." We can speak of this administration throwing Israel under a bus because he signals his intention to the Arab world that he may be willing to change US policy to accomodate them. Stay tuned!
