** Urgent ** Action Needed on Crucial Liberty Bills

It is going to be a busy legislative session in Topeka this year.  There are several bills that have been introduced that need to be passed to strengthen our liberties in Kansas.  With all of us working together, we have a very good chance of these passing.

Here is your action list for this week!  We will send out updates as we get new information.

1. Contact all committee members of each bill and ask them to vote YES!

2. If possible, come to Topeka and speak to them personally.

3. Attend hearing meetings.  We need standing only room in the hearing rooms.  Would love to have the crowd spill down the hallway to the rotunda.

4. Once they pass out of committee write or call your Representative and ask for a YES vote.

The bills we need to take action on now:

The 2nd Amendment Protection Act (HB2199)  Full text of bill here:

NDAA "Indefinite Detention" Nullification (HB2161)

Congress and Barack Obama have claimed the power to arrest and detain anyone and everyone without due process.

Please attending scheduled hearing:

Hearing: Wednesday, February 06, 2013, 9:30 AM Room 159-S

The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men. ~ Samuel Adams

I have introduced legislation to repeal instate tuition rates for illegal immigrants in Kansas.

"Four bills dealing with Illegal Immigration that the KS Legislature will likely debate this session"
1. E-Verify.
2. "Arizona-style" check of immigration status by law enforcement.
3. End public benefits for Illegal Immigrants.
4. Repeal instate college tuition rates for Illegal Immigrants.
