The Second Amendment Protection is an extremely important bill for our liberties in Kansas. This is one of the most critical of all bills in Topeka this session. We must protect the second amendment and we need your help to do it.
You can read the text of the bill here: http://www.kslegislature.org/li/b2013_14/measures/documents/hb2199_...
ACTION ITEMS:
1. Call or email all representatives on the Committee of Federal and State Affairs. Ask for a YES vote so the entire House can vote. You will find contact information here: http://www.kslegislature.org/li/b2013_14/committees/ctte_h_fed_st_1/
2. Contact as many of your liberty loving friends as possible and ask them to do the same.
3. Attend the committee hearing on Tuesday, February 19 at 9 AM, location 346-S in the Statehouse.
It is crucial that we pack the hearing room on Tuesday. Please make every effort to be there.

Comment by Craig Dunstan on February 18, 2013 at 1:20pm I plan on attending! Fill the room!
Comment by W Dale Russell on February 18, 2013 at 10:23am Leah, Today is important for both KS & MO.
Today in the MO State House the Hearing on SJR 14 is taking place, this is all about States Rights.
So as John has said it impacts more than just the 2nd amendment!
Everyone take a moment to be heard.
Comment by John Stolte on February 17, 2013 at 6:23pm Gun rights are a CIVIL RIGHTS issue. Gun rights are right up there with voting rights, First Amendment rights, the right to counsel, the right to live where you wish to live, etc. We must stop being on defense about our right to keep and bear arms.
