WHO HAS YOUR BACK? Here we go again with the politics of division from The Obama Regime. Obama's latest ad is a disgrace and is being used to motivate using a musical stereotype aimed at a gullible group of people. The ad features a smooth talking guy with mellow soul music in the background that makes the listener grove to the beat, and miss the real point. The message is weak, but has a ghetto ring to it which aims to move the target audience to action based on assimilation to a cultural beat, and a radical racial message. The President, who states as a disclaimer, that he approves this message, knows exactly what the purpose of this ad is all about. It's a racial divisive ad that follows the Obama path of the last 3 1/2 years. That path is one of division based on race. Mr. Obama has done more to divide this nation than any movement in the history of this nation. It started with his comments about the incident involving his friend the college professor, by downing the police, and has added insult to injury by posting his intentions to organize Black Americans for Obama, and now through this very smooth ad. If any of the Republican Presidential candidates that ran for office, or for that matter any White person running for office would openly target an ethnic group, the half would not be told as there would be a firestorm in the media and charges of discrimination would fly off the grid. The politics of race that Mr. Obama has used ever since his bid for election to The Office of President of The United States began, is disgraceful. It is hard to even imagine that Black Americans would even fall for his weak tactics either, because Obama has nothing less than further destroy the moral and financial values of Blacks since his inauguration to that position. two examples are Black teenage unemployment, and the plight of Black communities such as Detroit. One would think that the election to such a position as the First Black President of this great Republic would lead Obama to close the racial divide, but he has failed. The blame does not entirely fall upon him either as the so called Black leaders have done nothing to confront our President and cause him to address the issues that affect the Black community or this nation as a whole. Wake up people and lets unite to fix our common problems so that America can remain strong and continue to be a beacon for the world to see. My advise to Mr. Obama is that he would address the chip on his shoulder and that of his Attorney General and serve all Americans equally. We must all cover each others backs to ensure a prosperous future for our nation.

I heard that ad the other day when Glenn, Stu and Pat were making fun of it. Then at work I was wondering, why did they choose that music instead of rap or hiphop? My guess is that he  is trying to connect with the older black population since the youth vote is already a given.

I really don't expect Jackson, Sharpton or Farakhan to confront Obama on anything but the need to supply more entitlements. Their attention is on keeping the race fire burning brightly. Come to think of it there hasn't been much in the news lately about the NAACP co-opting the latino population either.

Emery, it seems to me that Obama's campaign must be in real trouble for them to need to target blacks in an ad like this!  So even the loyal black community - the ones who are dependent on this adminstration for all their needs - are not backing him this time?  It is insulting to blacks to be talked down to this way.  Obama is begging them to support him - have his back - rather than telling them what he will do to help THEM - get good jobs, raise their families, keep them safe!  Once again - all about HIM!  Blacks are unemployed or underemployed in greater numbers than any other group now - shouldn't he be telling them - and ALL Americans - what his plans are to improve this situation, rather than telling blacks to "have his back"?

Thank you for your support!
