Couldn't agree more with your positive evaluation of Hillsdale College. I've not had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Arnn myself, but I have been an Imprimis reader for several years and have donated to Hillsdale.
Over the last year I've also completed both of Hillsdale's (free) online courses on the U.S. Constitution. They're marvelous! The readings that accompany the course are wide-ranging, from both ends of the political spectrum, and eye-opening. The lectures are also very well done, of course.
By the way, when I note that the readings are from both ends of the political spectrum, I mean this as a conservative - i.e, Woodrow Wilson and Herbert Croly are included alongside Winston Churchill and Ronald Reagan. Hillsdale has enough intellectual honesty and courage to actually present both perspectives, as opposed to liberals' offering up the full "spectrum of thought" from Janeane Garofalo to Al Gore.
I am currently taking Hillsdale's online course on Western Civilization - also superb. I MOST STRONGLY recommend these courses, and Hillsdale College itself!
Hi Yvonne. Thank you for taking the time to welcome me and to provide an opportunity to respond to your question about Governor Romney. I did live in Mass while he was governor and I can tell you that he was an outstanding governor who was able to navigate a legislature that was approximately 90 hard left liberals. His ability to get things done was a true testament to his willingness to reach across party lines for the good of all Mass residents. He was a true leader who undertook his role as a representative of all Mass residents, regardless of party affiliation. He is a man of character and principle and I can say from my experience as a resident under his leadership that the country threw away a great and rare opportunity to once again have real leadership in the White House.
Thanks, Yvonne! I did enjoy the lecture. We have to stop this 2700 page bill nonsense. They do it so we won't police them. Thanks for the invitation on the Christmas. I have been considering joining; but haven't made up my mind.

My dear sister,
I want to express my admiration and respect to you and your husband, the posts that we are exchanging are nothing personal or against you. We are just exercising the right of freedom of speech and we are doing well.
Thanks for your interaction and for keeping the Republican flame burning!
Hi. I've been a member since July 2012. I was welcomed and I don't comment very often as I find these threads rather cumbersome. I have been a longtime political activist and mainly post on FB.
Hello Yvonne and thank you for the warm welcome. It is nice to be involved in a site like Political Chips. Lots of great current information to gather here.
Yes, I did cast my vote for Ted Cruz and was very happy to see the Tea Party beat the establishment guy. He will be a much needed addition to the Conservative cause in DC.
I have been involved in several other places and sort of lost track of this site after I signed up in 2010, just too much to keep track of. I have 5 blogs, a Facebook Page, Twitter page, a web site and just published a short eBook that is on itunes, lulu.com and Barnes&Noble online called "The Insanity of Liberalism." All this part time since I spend my days at my full time job. So if you Google "Political Madness" I have a pretty big footprint, but hopefully can work this site in as well, we must all stay involved and do all we can to get the word out and have as much influence as possible to beat the radicals back and restore what we all know this country to be!
Yvonne, For the last8 years I have been working on the illegal immigration issue on a state level with Francis Semler. I have come to the conclusion that we need to put all our efforts into the conservative basket, removing the legislators who are not able to see the effect liberal policies are dropping on us.
I guess that I too am going to have to be more vocal!
Thanks for the kind comments. I have not been back on this site until now. I am working really hard to win this primary. Once that is done I will have a breather.
You are so right about Agenda 21...the lastest is the Executive Order 13575 that supports this plan. The order references "sustainable rural communities". It raises a few eyebrows, since that is one of the key phrases found in the UN Plan. The order admits that it intends to seize greater power over food, fiber and energy key to human sustenance. We can not afford on so many levels to support candidates that believe this plan.

Liberty is being lost every day, and if we don't fight to win it back, it will be gone for good. America is the last stand for freedom.

Yvonne; After last night we must pray the Serenity prayer.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Hi Yvonne - I finally remembered to check into becoming a 5 Chipper. I just took the "test" and got 100% so guess I'm in now!
Yvonne, thanks--not sure how often I can comment since I'm working jobs and campaigning too for county commission. Will give it a shot though.
