Thanks for your comments on my blog posting about my dad. That was really interesting about your father's duty toward his family; tuberculosis hit my father's family as well. His mother was ill with it and he lost his beloved sister to TB when he was about 17 and she was a mere 21. It was a real scourge back then.
I'm amazed at the sense of responsibility that seems to be inherent in that generation. It's no wonder the term "Greatest Generation" applies to our parents.

Hello Leah -
Thank you for the welcome.
Just became an American citizen so I am proud to be able to vote for the first time in the upcoming election. I'm helping the Kris Kobach campaign. I believe he will be the next Secretary of State for Kansas. Guess you could say I jumped in with both feet!

thanks. I am so happy to be able to communicate here. Is this just the KS and MO web site? I have some information I need to share soon in Missouri.
It was great meeting you guys. Thank you for letting me limp along with you. I had so much fun. It was nice to be around like minded people. I look forward to seeing you again and getting more involved.
Leah, it's Brandon from the bus ride to Washington. I just want to thank you and your group for the opportunity to travel with Political Chips.org. I had a great time and I hope that I can bring as much to your group as you have given me over the weekend.
