Thanks for friending me David!  Gosh-what a pain in the neck it must be, to have other folks constantly telling you what you 'should feel'.  I get that too sometimes-being in my profession, I'll often have Feminazis 'presume' I'm one of them.

To which I reply, 'God forbid!  I'm a Conservative Catholic, pro-life, and totally against gay marriage'.  When they hear that, David, it sometimes gets tense...(!?)

Thank you David for your reponse to my prayer for Angelo, he is a really neat guy. I would like to invite you to be my friend but I can't figure out how to do this I have done it before of course cause I have some friends in here but can't seem to find the invite button.

Hey! Good to get a special message from you! Have you read my forum, New Conservative Heroine, Jan Brewer....about the Arizona immigration bill. Think you'll like. The fight goes on, doesn't it? There's so much that needs to--very likely will--come to a head sooner or later. Hate the oppressive tyranny evading us. Hope all's good with you. :)

Was out of town for most of this month as had a sad, early death in our family and drove to mid-state Texas. Impressed that you are still so active in PChips and like your comments. Hope to meet you at one of the PChips events---Tea Party maybe?

I have 3 "children" - Tim Jr who is 28 and married to a wonderful woman, Katie who gave us a beautiful granddaughter, Adeline a year ago. Chris just turned 21 and is in college- doesn't really have a grip on what he wants to do yet. And Karlie is getting ready to turn 18 on April 1st and graduating from high school. She will be going to MU in the fall and is pretty excited about that.
Hopefully the unrest in Mexico will end soon. It is my favorite country to visit. Not only are the people nice but it is such a great value staying at one of the all-inclusive resorts. My husband got his open water scuba certification a few years back. Me, I will snorkel but would prefer to stay on top of the water. I will have to post some more pictures when I am off of work. :)

Actually I am in the Riveria Maya, Mexico on vacation a couple of years ago with my husband, Tim. We are at the Occidental Grand Xcaret resort in a tower overlooking the area. It was absolutely beautiful. We try to go to a different resort each year in the Riveria Maya. We stayed at Secrets Silversands last year with my husband's brother and his wife. I am hooked on that area of Mexico.

No big plans. I'll lay around and watch the olympics opening ceremony tonight. Maybe e-mail a few senators and congress types about concerns that we have.

I believe that this is exactly what Claver is talking about; getting people to vote their values and not who/what they are sterotypically supposed to vote for.
If Christians, Catholics, Mormons and Jews would come together and vote based upon their moral vlaues, we wouldn't be in this mess. Do you remember the Moral Majority back in the 80's? Jerry Falwell motivated the nation, for about 10 years, to vote based on their moral, religious values.
